Ulrika has been working with digital transformation, organizational change and human centered design for some of Swedens most well known brands (Icon Medialab, Apoteket AB, IKEA) since graduating from Hyper Island in the late 90's.
She possesses a unique cultural experience of process design and systemic change that ranges from the start-up scene, large corporations and non-profit organisations. This in combination with a cross disciplinary academic background in Sociology, History of Economics, Marketing and Fine Arts enables her to understand and act on societal and business transformation from both an analytic and practical perspective. Empathy and emotional connection is the foundation of her engagement, daring to take new paths and support others to do the same even when there is no road to follow. 2017 she was nominated to the award "Intraprenur of the year a reward given to individuals that "has shown extraordinary ability to discover and push through new ideas as well as organise and create resources to to achieve results beyond the ordinary". During her experience as global engagement leader for a more sustainable life at home at IKEA she empowered the organisation to understand how co-worker and customers together can drive impactful social change through co-creation and movements. Inspiring new sustainable and circular initiatives to develop from within the organisation across sectors.
Her international experience as a process manager, facilitator, inspirational speaker and concept developer has given her a strong understanding of how to design for inter cultural needs and our global challenges - turning them into opportunities. With a smile.
“If we see the true potential of each individual we can empower ourselves to create a much happier world together.”
